Portable Nuclear Power, Nuclear Power is staging a huge resurgence. Hyperion nuclear power module is the size of a hot tub, gets buried in theground, and creates enough power for 20,000 homes.
Hyperion Modules have no movingparts to wear down, and are delivered factory sealed. They are never opened onsite. Even if one were compromised, the material inside would not beappropriate for proliferation purposes. Further, due to the unique, yet provenscience upon which this new technology is based, it is impossible for themodule to go supercritical, “melt down” or create any type of emergencysituation. If opened, the very small amount of fuel that is enclosed wouldimmediately cool. The waste produced after five years of operation isapproximately the size of softball and is a good candidate for fuelrecycling. It wont be long homes will have small nuclear power plants.

Nuclear is staging a huge resurgence. Once built, nuclear outputs prodigious amounts of cheap power,something the planet badly needs. Let’s hope it gets done safely because it isgoing to happen and we need it now! They seemed to have the nuclear waist down to a minimum, exactly what we need for safety.Toshiba, also has in place a Micro Nuclear Power Plant being tested this year.I think the overall population is afraid of the word Nuclear Power. I
